Lindsey and Chris have known each other most of their lives. They first met at Lipscomb Academy in the first grade, always friendly acquaintances but never intentionally paying much attention to the other. Going through middle school, Lindsey was friends with Chris's twin sister, Lauren, but the two still never thought of each other as anything more than friends. Until one day, their senior year of high school, they just noticed each other. Nothing was different, there were no major makeovers, no defining conversation. They just suddenly and unexpectedly saw each other differently. They went to college together, and this past September, Chris proposed. Their Radnor Lake engagement session was reliving their first date. Last month, Lindsey and Chris were married, and their Brentwood church wedding was such a wonderful, joy-filled day. The kind of day you have when things are just meant to be.
We took some portraits of Lindsey a few weeks before her wedding, so see her Arrington Vineyards bridal portraits here.
Sperry's Rehearsal Dinner
Please notice the very first picture of the sign Chris's mom had made for the rehearsal dinner.
We ran into Lindsey's dad on her way to see her groom. So sweet.
Chris and Lindsey opted to have a First Look to get some alone time together on their wedding day and allow for a more laid back schedule. I just adore Chris's reaction to his bride. Pure joy.
This is a shot from my second shooter, Rachel.
