I don't know that Sarah + Paul's day could have been any more perfect. They were wonderfully laid back and just ready. For early September weddings here in Nashville, I'm typically prepared for a hot, sweaty, humid day, but with Hurricane Harvey clearing out just hours beforehand (and certainly not to underestimate its devastation for those that truly experienced it), we were left with weather that couldn't have been more ideal.
I'm so thankful I was able to kick off my wedding season with these guys. I loved their day, I love them, and I hope you love these photos!
Sarah and Paul did such a great job of making their wedding their own. From centerpieces of herbs that they grew themselves to coloring pages of their (many) pets and foster pets, I was smiling and laughing at their details all day long! I mean, look at those precious faces!
They were also on their best photo game as I pulled them from a few photos I really wanted at twilight and came along immediately! We only took about five minutes from their reception, and I think it was worth it!
I'm sharing both mine and Sarah's age a bit here, but her dad came back after his toast and gave Sarah a gift of a friend she hadn't seen in a long time. In the bag was the clearly well-loved Popple she had as a kid. And, for all you young'uns out there, this is what they're supposed to look like.
I want to say a special thanks to everyone who made Sarah + Paul's day so perfect (and a special shout out to Harvey for clearing out of Nashville just in time).
